Jeff Odgers
Guest Instructor
Former Thrasher and fan favorite Jeff Odgers has moved into the radio broadcast booth where he has served as the color commentator for two season. Click here

Reagan Carey
Director of Fan Development
Carey, a trainee for the Thrashers marketing department during the 2001-02 season, joined the department fulltime for the 2002-03 season and assumed her current position this past September ... Carey played four years of women's hockey at both the Division I and Division III levels at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Chris Uber
Manager of Community Hockey Development
Uber joined the Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Development Team full time in July of 2006. A native of Ithaca, New York, Chris played two years of junior hockey for New York Applecore in the EJHL, before attending the University of Connecticut and playing four years of Division 1 hockey and captaining the team in his final season.

Misha Donskov
Youth Hockey Coaching Consultant & Lead Hockey Development Instructor
Misha Donskov joined the Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Development Team during the 2004/2005 season. Currently, Misha serves as Lead Hockey Development Instructor and Youth Hockey Coaching Education Consultant with the Atlanta Thrashers. Additionally, he has assisted the Atlanta Thrashers coaching staff as an advanced pro scout. Prior to joining the Thrashers, Misha spent three years with the Columbus Blue Jackets as a Lead Instructor and part-time employee in fan/hockey development. Misha has an extensive coaching and instructing background having worked numerous hockey schools with both youth and adult hockey players in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Donskov played two years of junior hockey in the United States and Canada prior to playing college hockey in the U.S.. He completed his playing experience in Europe (01/02, Sweden II.Division, 02/03, Norway I.Division). Misha holds a USA Hockey Level V Masters Coaching Certification. Misha and his family operate The “OV” Hockey School out of Columbus, Ohio. Misha graduated from Miami (OH) University with a degree in Business Administration/Finance.

Chris Channer
Lead Instructor and Goalie Specialist
Chris is one of the original members of the Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Development Team. He graduated from Chattahoochee High School in 1996 and attended Georgia Tech. While he was there, he was awarded with the MVP of the 1997 College Hockey South All-Star game, 2000 CHS All-Star, and was a member of the Thrasher Cup winning teams in 1999 and 2003. He played for the Gwinnett Gladiators as their back up goalie in 2004. Chris works for the Thrashers because he loves working with kids and enjoys spreading the awareness of hockey.

Eric Legault
Lead Instructor and Goalie Specialist
Eric graduated from College Bourget in Rigaud, Canada in 1997 where he played hockey, football and baseball. He attended Life University in Marietta, Ga. where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While there, he played on the team that won three National Championships in four years. Eric played on the Jr. A (CJHL) level for the Hawkesbury Hawks and currently plays in the AAA level men's league in Duluth. While hockey is his preference, Eric was invited to a minor league baseball camp in Florida at the age of 16.

Jonathan Poirier
Lead Instructor
Jonathan is originally from Montreal, Quebec, and played for the New Hampshire Monarchs in the Eastern Junior Hockey League, and made 1St Team All Star Junior Hockey. Jon went on to play for Union College in the ECAC, where he was awarded the ECAC Player of the Week award, and majored in French. His favorite player growing up was Mario Lemieux, and Jon loves being able to help promote hockey and make the game experience the best it can be for the fans.

Sean Bernhardt
Hockey Development Instructor
Sean is originally from Webster New York, where he played youth, high school and college hockey at Morrisville State College, then moved to warmer climates and currently plays for Kennesaw State University. Sean also works at the IceForum rink in Kennesaw. His favorite player growing up was Mark Messier, and favorite part of Thrashers game nights is getting the opportunity to watch all the games.

Jon Chudzik
Hockey Development Instructor
Jon graduated from Eagles Landing High School in 2003 where he played soccer for two years. Since then, Jon has been playing at various levels across the country. He played at Level B for the Cincinnati Cobras, Junior C for the Atlanta Extreme and Midget AA for the Atlanta Fire. Jon currently plays adult upper AAA for the Panthers and adult AA for the Breakaway Grill. His favorite thing about Thrashers game nights is the crowd and says he loves working for the Thrashers because "Hockey is my life."

Chris Copelli
Hockey Development Instructor
Chris graduated from Norcross High School in 2004 where he was named the “Who's Who among High School Students.” While there, he played tennis, lacrosse and hockey. He is in his fourth year at the University of Georgia where he is majoring in Economics and a minor in Religion. While playing for their College non-varsity hockey team, he is also the team President. His favorite thing about Thrashers game nights is getting to be at ice level, and his favorite player growing up was Steve Yzerman.

Daniel Evans
Hockey Development Instructor
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Daniel graduated from Woodstock High School in 2006 where he played ice hockey all four years. He was an assistant captain for two years, and the team finished in the top three in the state for his last three seasons. He is currently an assistant coach to the team, while he is attending Chattahoochee Technical College, and is planning on graduating later this year. He currently plays adult league ice hockey at the IceForum. Daniel works for the Thrashers because he loves introducing the sport to the youth of Atlanta.

Billy Gableman
Hockey Development Instructor
Billy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Blessed Trinity High School in 2003 where he played roller hockey, ice hockey, tennis, golf and lacrosse. He attended Emory University where he was a double major in math and economics. He has been awarded the President's Award for Academic Achievement. In athletics, he was a member of the Southeaster Regional College Hockey Champions and led the S.E. for assists as a defender. He played for Emory Hockey and Total Hockey and is also the Alpharetta High School hockey coach. His favorite player growing up was Pavel Bure, and wore his number 10.

JJ Grady
Hockey Development Instructor
JJ is originally from Peachtree City, where he grew up playing both ice and roller hockey. He graduated from McIntosh High School in 2004, where he was the roller hockey team’s captain for his last two seasons, and they won the 2002 A State championships. He also played for the Atlanta Rush Travel team, and Peachtree City Recreation League. JJ is now studying Real Estate at Georgia State University, where he plays on their roller hockey team, and the adult ice hockey league at The Cooler. Most people would be surprised to know that JJ is an Eagle Scout, and his favorite part of working Thrashers games is interacting with fans and enjoying the hockey atmosphere.

Missy Holas
Lead Fitness Instructor/Supervisor
Missy graduated from Chippewa Valley High School in 1995 and went onto Oakland University and then Life University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, her Masters in Sports Medicine, and Doctrine of Chiropractic. Missy is a full time chiropractor, and also finds time to teach classes at Life University. She loves Thrashers game nights because she loves hockey and the people that she works with.

Uriah Jones
Hockey Development Instructor
Uriah graduated from Howard Central in 2001 where he played basketball and football. He made the all-conference team in 2001 for basketball. Uriah currently plays in the AAA league at the Cooler where he also coached "Learn to Skate Hockey" and assisted with the Cooler Hockey Academy last summer. His favorite part about Thrashers game nights is interacting with the fans and being a part of the game during the on-ice intermissions.

Drew Klipp
Hockey Development Instructor
Drew is from Roswell and plays ice hockey for the University of Georgia, where he has been an integral part of the teams’ offense. He is studying marketing and is scheduled to graduate in 2009. His favorite NHL player growing up was Joe Sakic, and his most desired part of working Thrashers games is getting up close and personal to all the NHL players.

Christina Legault
Hockey Development Instructor
Originally from Hillside, New Jersey, Christina graduated from Georgia State University in 2005 where she was on the dean's list for 3 semesters while concentrating on graphic design, and she played for the Georgia State's club hockey team. Her favorite thing about Thrashers game nights is going out on the ice for the intermissions. “I am honored and proud to be working for the Atlanta Thrashers and I love taking part in teaching hockey throughout the community.”

Thomas Michael
Hockey Development Instructor
Thomas graduated from Eagles Landing High School in 2003 where he wrestled and played roller hockey. In 2003, his team was the AAAA State Roller Hockey Champions. The biggest influence on his life as an athlete has been Steve Yzerman because of his amazing leadership qualities. Thomas works for the Thrashers because he loves hockey and wants people to know the game.

Steve Mitchell
Hockey Development Instructor
Steve is originally from Long Island, New York, and grew up in Atlanta during the era of the Atlanta Flames. Steve had the honor of living in a neighborhood of Flames alumni Curt Bennett, who influenced neighborhood youth to get involved in hockey. Steve is one of the original members of the Community Development staff, and graduated from the University of Georgia. Steve plays adult league ice and roller hockey in Alpharetta, and loves being a part of something as big as the NHL.
Jennifer Munhofen
Hockey Development Instructor
Jennifer played three years of hockey for Cornell University, where she earned rookie of the year in 2003, made the 2005 ECAC All-Star team, and made Ivy League Honorable Mention in 2006. She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors Degree in Natural Resources, and loves hanging out with reptiles. “The biggest influences on my life as an athlete are those that will never have the chance to skate because of physical limitations. My faith is my reason for living and I am blessed with fully functional arms and legs and have all my senses, therefore, I must use them to the best of my abilities.”

David Ouimet
Hockey Development Instructor
David is originally from South Hadley, Massachusetts, where he graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2003. While there he was the lead ice hockey instructor for the Physical Education program, and majored in Business. Dave spent one year on exchange at the University of Georgia, where he played on the club team and placed fourth in the national championship tournament. Dave plays adult league hockey in Duluth, an assistant coach with a youth team, and is an ice hockey referee.

Taylor Popp
Hockey Development Instructor
Taylor graduated from Forsyth Central High School in 2002 where he played tennis, roller hockey and ice hockey. He currently attends Georgia State University where he is majoring in Exercise Science. While there, Taylor has made the college All-Star team for the Southeast, he stands as President of all the club sports for GSU and is on the Board of Executives for the NCRHA. Taylor played on the Atlanta Junior Extreme's (C) and currently plays for GSU, Breakaway Grill, Panthers, Southsiders and travel teams. His favorite thing about Thrashers game nights is watching the talent that the pros bring to the game.

Michael Porter
Hockey Development Instructor
Michael is originally from Amherst, Ohio, where he has played hockey for 14 seasons as a goalie. Mike currently plays for Kennesaw State University, which is in their first season as a Division Two non-varsity team after winning the Division Three National Championships last year. His favorite player growing up was Martin Broduer, and he loves watching all the fans and young kids at Thrashers games enjoying the game he loves.

Renee Suratt
Hockey Development Staff Member
Renee graduated from Norcross High School in 2002 where she played lacrosse and was honored as the North Georgia Lacrosse League All-star. She recently graduated from Georgia State University where she majored in Public Relations and a minor in political science. In addition to her hockey involvement, she also is going on her fourth year as a high school lacrosse coach. Her favorite thing about Thrashers game nights is when the Thrashers win and she works for the Thrashers because she loves working in sports.
